West End Presentations June 29 and June 30, 2011

“What is That? Unusual and Offbeat People, Places, Things and Events in Washington State” coming to West End Branches



Harriet Baskas will present the program “What is That? Unusual and Offbeat Places Things and Events in Washington State” at the Clallam Bay and Forks Libraries. The Clallam Bay event takes place on Wednesday, June 29th beginning at 6:30 pm. In Forks, Ms. Baskas will speak at 6:30 pm on Thursday, June 30th.

Harriet Baskas is an award winning author and radio producer and has written six books including Washington Curiosities and Washington Icons. She is the president of Reel Women Productions and manages three Northwest public radio stations.

“What is That?” will explore unusual objects, events and stories and their many influences on state and local history.
