Forks Family Literacy Day

Exercise your mind!
Family Literacy Day  on November 6, 2010 was a huge hit at the Forks Branch with more than 107 participants getting "Fit to Read". More than 60 books were given away to children. 15 high school students and other volunteers were also on hand to help with the various activities set up throughout the branch.
Choosing books to read.

Puzzled?
In the photos you will see a young patron taking timeout from reading to give the hula hoop a whirl. Other kids workout their brains with some puzzle worksheets. In another picture, a family takes their time choosing some great books to take home. And as you can see, one boy couldn't wait to get home to begin reading his special new book.

As usual, Pat Soderlind and her helpers put together another fantastic event!
