Getting Connected: Online Social Networking


Learn new ways to build connections with your family, friends and customers using Facebook, Twitter, blogging and more. Renne Brock-Richmond will give an introductory talk on using online social media Monday, November 1, at 7pm at the Port Angeles Main Library. She will also provide information on how to create accounts, use marketing strategies and potential security concerns.

Funding for this program is generously provided by the Port Angeles Friends of the Library and is free of charge. Preregistration is not required.

Renne Emiko Brock-Richmond teaches computer, digital media and social media use through Peninsula College, is an Education Mentor for the University of Washington Certificate in Virtual Worlds Program, conducts workshops for TechSoup Global on marketing and social media networking and offers her own independent courses.
